We're super excited about the return of one of our favorite snack stops in New York, Panya Bakery, an always tasty Japanese bakery, with a variety of Japanese offerings from cookie custard to melon bread to sandwiches (their spicy tuna sandwich has always been my favorite...). Not to mention a wonderful variety of hot beverage options... The bakery had been shuttered ('for renovations') almost a year ago, alongside adjoining NYU hot spot, Around The Clock. Considering the economic times, we weren't expecting to ever enjoy the tasty offerings of Panya again...But it looks like they really meant it when they said they'd come back; This tasty pit stop isn't gonna succumb to the perils of today's economy. And for that, we're giving Panya a big pat on the back. Good work!
