Johnny Depp and Tim Burton to Remake Dark Shadows | FILM

Vampires and the macabre continue in entertainment, as Tim Burton revives the 60's gothic soap opera Dark Shadows, casting Johnny Depp (rawr) as the vampire Barnabas Collins. According to Wikipedia, the ABC show also featured "werewolves, ghosts, zombies, man-made monsters, witches, warlocks, time travel (both into the past and into the future), and a parallel universe." The Daily Express reports that they have committed to making at least 3 movies. Johnny Depp as a vampire?? YES, PLEASE!

Considering the cult appeal of True Blood (my personal fave show on TV right now!!) and the fanatical following Twilight has gathered (hi, Paige), this Tim Burton/ Johnny Depp project is a sure success.
