MOVIES - Coraline in 3D

We checked out Coraline in 3D Friday night for the midnight show and wow! We unknowingly walked into a cultural phenom. At 11:30 there were already hundreds teens and young adults waiting in a line that wrapped around corridors to get into the theater, some holding their copies of the book. The buzz at midnight when we finally got to our seats was palpable. The movie itself was gorgeous and creepy, but we were most impressed with the 3D effects. They went from subtly enhancing the quiet darkness of the movie to popping into full effect at key moments - eliciting gasps and shrieks from the audience. Overall it was a really cool theater experience and we highly recommend making sure to see it in 3D.
