HAPPY HAPPY BUSY HOLIDAYS

Well, this season has certainly snuck up on us over here, and that seems to be the running sentiment with all. Keeping very busy as we approach the holiday break. Keep posted and patient as we have plenty to tell you here at the Zandland Blog, but might be in 'turtle mode' as we put the finishing touches on everything else we have going on over here. Smiles, and a very happy holidays to you all! In the meantime, we put together a little video (on JibJab) starring a few members from our Zandl crew. TECH - Asimo partners up

Honda shows off the new generation of Asimo robots that together in pairs!

Honda says its new robot buddy system allows the humanoids to share information about each other's location and what each is doing....the Asimo can analyze and predict the movement of real humans so that the robots don't get in the way. [USA Today]

and who doesn't love the concept of strong and smart robots teaming up together?

oh, and Asimo now charges itself too, so it'll never go dead...

Today, the Honda Motor Company unveiled a range of improvements which include the ability for Asimo to take charge of topping up its battery: when he is getting low, he is able to figure out the closest charging station and connect himself in, marking another step towards giving robots their independence. DRINK - Holiday Cocktail Ideas

December Fizz
Ingredients:
- 1 oz 10 Cane Rum
- 1/2 oz Drambuie
- Lemon juice
- Egg White
- Coriander syrup
- Club soda
Garnish: sage leaf

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain the mixture into ice-filled highball glass. Top with soda, garnish with sage leaf. (Cocktail developed by: Eben Klemm, director of cocktail development for B.R. Guest Restaurants)

This is one of my favorite sideline stories of the month. A new Hershey's brand product, "Ice Breakers Pacs" are throwing off the feds in a big way. Why? Cause they look like bags of cocaine! The mint strips are sealed around a powdered sweetner. Genius.
