Parkour (IPA: /paʁ.'kuʁ/, often abbreviated PK) is a physical discipline of French origin in which participants attempt to pass obstacles in the fastest and most direct manner possible, using skills such as jumping, vaulting and climbing, or the more specific parkour moves. I'm totally learning how to do this. Aspects of "free running" or "parkour" have been catching small media nods over the past several years. Most notably, Casino Royale, the upcoming 21st Bond flick, will feature a parkour-inspired chase sequence. Sebastien Foucan, a pioneer of "free running", has been cast as a terrorist in the film.
